Madelyn has a sexual encounter with her step-brother Logan, but then she never hears from him again until she walks into an office to ask for help to find her stolen car from an organisation called The Vigil which helps when the college's security team fails and he is standing there. Surprisingly he and his two hot friends agree to take on her case but there is no way she will let them investigate it on their own besides maybe she can then find out why the last time she saw Logan she was having to patch him up. As their search takes an unexpected turn the truth maybe even worse than she thought.
I enjoyed the start of this new series and the details about Madelyn and how she met Logan and the two other guys over her missing car. It was fun to read of Logan who seemed determined that no one else was allowed to have anything to do with Madelyn past what he did years ago. Madelyn was strong and very sassy even if that was not in her best interests. A promising start which excites me for what could happen to them all next. Contains some mature content.
