Millie had been responsible and had never left her small town until she had a mission to conduct a murder investigation and had to travel to the city. He had no idea how ill-equipped she was until half of the city's underworld was gunning for her. Spike was a gruff and sexy biker and was the only person standing between her and the bad guys. To Spike she was a menace, a klutz, adorable and a Little in need of a watchful and protective Daddy - could he get himself sorted out and make sure that she was his?
I enjoyed this story with the strange Little that was Millie, the reluctant Daddy who also wouldn't let anyone near her, and the way that they fit together very well with their very strong contrast. I love the way that the books in this series can be read separately but also have a common thread or two that make them all work together. It was easy to read and understand. I could feel the thoughts and emotions of the characters. Contains a mature BDSM DDLG relationship.
