After her mother died Zoey was working as a waitress in a diner to pay off her medical bills. When working she befriended a couple who were different to her normal customers and they told her that Dr Richards was hiring a companion. When travelling there for the interview her car breaks down and she walks for miles to get there hours late. When he finds her he cares for her and it becomes clear to him that she is the Little he has been searching for years to find - the question is whether she can accept the chance in life and take a chance for something so special.
I enjoyed this story which was a tale of tragedy which then transformed into something so much nicer. I loved the supporting characters of the security guy and the housekeeper. Dr Richards was a lovely guy who took great care of her and made sure that he was very respectful and gave her plenty of opportunities to consider and change her mind (even though he was already in love with her). Easy to read and understand. Contains a BDSM relationship with the DDLG style.
