When the law is not enough to protect the vulnerable someone has to step in and it isn't always legal. This is the brotherhood that is known as the Shadows. When Addison went into Knox's gun shop to buy a gun he knew she was in trouble but what he didn't expect what for his Daddy's senses to go high gear and that she was a Little. For Addison life was going great until she got a call that her past was coming back to haunt her and although she is not happy about it, she may have to accept help from Knox as he says he will protect her and she needs all the help she can get.
I really liked this story which was a great introduction to the Shadows and it had a very protective Daddy ging everything he could do to protect his Little. There was plenty of drama, danger and some violence in this book, but there were also a lot of tender moments that outweighed the bad. Easy to read and understand, this book contained mature content of a BDSM nature with a DDLG relationship.
