Dante Romano and Preacher grew up together and became Capos in the Cosa Nostra together even though they were lovers and Preacher was his Daddy. When heir Dante was 23 he gave up his freedom in order to keep Preacher alive but now Preacher is continuing his search for his boy who is also the man he loves forever. When Preacher made a deal with Tank he managed to track down his boy still in his city and so he goes in and takes back what was his by kidnapping him. Can they fix everything in order to be able to stay together forever?
I really loved this story of the single-minded way that Preacher sought to find Dante and the way he easily managed to get him back. The joy they had to be back together and the way they were both achieving the same good things separately was really special and spoke of the impact that they had on each other. I was thrilled when they refused to accept a separation again and that they had allies to help them end things properly so that Dante was now in charge. Easy to read, feel and understand I felt a lot of emotion when they were finally back together again. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.
