Review: Rampage by Reese Knightly 4 of 5 stars

Rampage

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Three strong, independent, and protective badasses are on the cusp of romance when tragedy and disaster come at them like a landslide. While they chase down a sex trafficking kingpin with a devious plan, life throws one challenge after another in their path. Storm, Roscoe, and Wild flirt around a burning attraction as Phoenix continues the fight against crime. Communication, tailspins, and tragic pasts are just some of the things these men will need to face when death comes knocking. Can three strong men survive the trials they face or will history destroy them all?

This was a very dramatic story as the team struggled with everything coming at them and their families. Add to that the complex relationship between the three men and there was a lot of emotions, feelings and passion. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content.

Review: End It All by Brea Alepoú by Skyler Snow 4 of 5 stars

End It All

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Blake is not well behaved, but has to run away to join a family he has only just been told about. But meeting the Vitale’s puts his life into perspective. They’re everything he's longed for; rich, adventurous, fearless, and close. Really close. This is supposed to be his family too. So why does he feel like an outsider? He has no choice except to fit in because he can’t go back home. Not when he's on the run. Amidst the chaos of a cooling war, a family struggle, and the law nipping at his heels, he meet Quincy. Bold, crazy, and hot as a five alarm fire. This man is the grand red flag of all red flags. And he's always loved to play with fire.

I enjoyed this story but was a little disappointed that the opportunity to expand on Blake's and Quincy's past lives could have been expanded more. I loved reading more about Benito and Harlow. Lots of passion and dark moments in this story. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Collide by Reese Knightly 4 of 5 stars

Collide

Collide by Reese Knightley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ex hacker Seth O’Leary enjoys the hell out of being part of an elite team of operatives known only as Phoenix. In fact, he’s pretty much made it his whole life. When things go horribly wrong with his deadbeat boyfriend, Seth is surprised to find help coming from an unexpected source. The man he’s secretly fantasized about for years finally takes notice. Asher Grayson, code name Frost, is everything that Seth wants in a man but the player is gun shy about relationships. What will it take to capture the man’s icy heart? Phoenix operative, Frost, thought he had it all figured out. Scratch an itch with the newly single and hot Seth O’Leary and the craving would be over. Best laid plans and all that, Seth gets under his skin like nobody ever has and without warning Frost finds he can’t seem to walk away so easily. Which is completely out of character for him. He doesn’t ‘do’ relationships because of his past. So, the question remains, will he let long-ago events drive him away from the best thing that has ever happened to him?
Mix in tragic turn of events and ruthless acts of violence, and you’ve got a recipe for disaster. With evil forces hell bent on destruction, the pair are on a collision course that leaves them reeling. Will Frost get a chance to step up and be the kind of man Seth can respect or will a madman end any chance for a happily ever after?

This was a very dramatic story as the Phoenix team fought an enemy understand Will and Seth fought for a chance at love before it was too late. Lots of angst, passion and feelings between them both. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Ricochet by Reese Knightly 4 of 5 stars

Ricochet

Ricochet by Reese Knightley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Noah Bradford knows secrets that could get him killed, and staying in WITSEC seems like a good plan. What he didn’t plan on is losing his heart to a man who is sworn to protect him. Battle scarred US Marshal Robert “Mac” Mackenzie has a job to do, and guaranteeing the safety of Noah Bradford is at the top of that list. Mac will do whatever it takes to keep Noah safe, even if it means walking away. Mac and Noah, brought together during extreme circumstances, have been separated by evil. It's been six years, give or take, and Noah is coming for vengeance against the men who killed his mother. He's on a collision course with Mac, who has no idea of the man Noah has become.

This was a very dramatic story as Mac saved Noah and then Noah's transformation into someone more dangerous than Mac. Lots of emotions and feelings in this story as the two men waited a time when they could be together. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Without Fail by Reese Knightly 4 of 5 stars

Without Fail

Without Fail by Reese Knightley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When Billionaire Ryker Langston’s bodyguard Marshal Thomas leaves without saying a word, Ryker is left wondering what the hell he had done wrong. Even though Marshal had never returned his feelings of love, they had at least been friends. Suddenly an opportunity presents itself and Marshal temporarily returns. Will that give Ryker enough time to win the man’s heart? Or will it be the same as before? When Marshal blows hot and cold, Ryker is more confused than ever. What the hell is going on? Perhaps the answers Ryker seeks can be found in the reasons Marshal quit in the first place. Bodyguard Marshal Thomas had his reasons for walking away from the Langston family. There was nothing but heartache waiting for him there.Only now there’s a threat against Ryker and that is something Marshal cannot allow.

I loved this story with the layers of betrayal on both sides with the two men at the centre of a all. Lots of danger and drama. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Experiments in Love by Shaw Montgomery 4 of 5 stars

Experiments in Love

Experiments in Love by Shaw Montgomery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Anson isn’t going to apologize for eavesdropping when the conversation is so fascinating and the questioner sounds so cute. He is, however, going to thoroughly enjoy discussing the intriguing topic and offer up his help. After all, scientific curiosity should be encouraged, especially when the inquisitive cutie has such an interesting hypothesis. Kennedy knows he’s right - size does matter - but proving it seems like an impossible task until a helpful stranger in a naughty bar offers to set up an experiment and to take Kennedy out on a date. Kennedy’s appropriately skeptical, of course. Most people find him annoying, but most people aren’t Anson, a sweetheart with more numbers in his life than friends. When two unique men decide to tackle an age-old question, they’ll satisfy more than just their curiosity along the way.

This was a sweet story around one man's obsession around size and length and the need for a scientific experiment to settle the question. Dom Anson is prepared to help as he gets to know Kennedy. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like D/s dynamic.

Review: Without Him Reese Knightly 4 of 5 stars

Without Him

Without Him by Reese Knightley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Separated by lies, bound by desire. Falling in love was not something Bishop had ever planned on. Until a sexy billionaire named Syn appeared on his radar. Syn who is off limits. Syn who just announced his engagement. Now the lies and treachery are piling up. And Bishop will need to make some hard fast decisions.

I loved this story with the treachery and plots inside the one family and how both were embroiled in it for different reasons. I felt sorry for Syn until Bishop came clean. Lots of emotions and feelings. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
