Review: His Reaper by Cora Rose 4 of 5 stars

His Reaper

His Reaper by Cora Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Bane is a soft‑hearted reaper with a bloody job and a hopeless crush on surgeon Georgiy Sokolov, who smells amazing and refuses to text him back. But when a dark force threatens Bane’s found family and his nightmares stir up buried memories, the two men team up. With Bane’s brute strength and Georgiy’s precision, they dig into the dangerous truth behind the evil stalking him — a bloody, chaotic, and strangely romantic fight for survival.

I loved this dark book that was an intense, chaotic, and strangely tender ride, driven by the sheer obsession Bane and Georgiy have for each other. Their connection is magnetic from the start — dark, consuming, and impossible for either of them to walk away from. Every scene between them crackles with that mix of danger, desire, and absolute fixation. What gives the story real emotional weight is how both men carry scars from their childhoods, and how those buried traumas fuelled the psychotic breaks and nightmares that haunt them. Their pasts aren’t just backstory — they’re active forces shaping who they are and why they cling to each other so fiercely. As the danger around them escalates, their obsession became both their greatest strength and their most terrifying vulnerability. This story was bloody, unhinged, unexpectedly romantic, and ultimately about two damaged men who understood each other in ways no one else ever could. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Cherish by Garrett Leigh 5 of 5 stars

Cherish

Cherish by Garrett Leigh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Harry and Joe return in a tender Skins‑universe novella filled with found family, rescue horses, and deep, steady love. After a decade together, Joe still loves Harry with his whole heart, but life is shifting around them. Somewhere along the way, they realise they want more — something bigger, scarier, and full of possibility. Even though they’re already happy, the idea of expanding their family forces them to question whether they’re ready, whether they’re enough, and whether there’s room in their hearts for someone new. Joe worries they have no roadmap for fatherhood, but he knows one thing with absolute certainty: with Harry beside him, he can face anything.

I loved this novella that was a beautiful return to Harry and Joe’s world, reminding you exactly why they’re such beloved characters. Their bond is as deep and steady as ever — the kind of love where they’d do absolutely anything for each other, even when it means sitting down and having the hard conversations. That willingness to talk, to question, and to grow together gives their relationship so much heart. As life throws new possibilities and unexpected challenges their way, events gently but powerfully show them just how much they truly mean to one another. Their love doesn’t just hold; it expands, strengthens, and proves itself all over again. This was a tender, emotional story about partnership, courage, and the quiet certainty that comes from choosing each other every single day. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Unwanted by Charity Parkerson 4 of 5 stars

Unwanted

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Fen is missing huge pieces of his memory after being abducted, and the haunting voice in his mind makes him fear he’s losing his grip on reality. The only thing that brings him peace is Kyrie, the flawless wolf he can’t stop wanting — even though he has no idea the danger closing in on him. Kyrie, meanwhile, is juggling deadly secrets, a habit of occasionally dropping dead, and the interference of a God who keeps wrecking his life. The last thing he needs is a tempting Scottish vampire… but Fen is impossible to resist. With two powerful forces targeting Fen, their connection might be the only thing that can save him — if the truth doesn’t break them first.

I loved this instalment that delivered an intense, emotional punch as Fen and Kyrie’s connection becomes the heart of the story. Their love is immediate, instinctive, and impossible to ignore — the kind of bond that feels carved into their souls long before either of them understood why. Every moment between them carried that electric mix of longing, comfort, and inevitability. But what makes their romance so gripping is how fiercely it’s tested. Fen is haunted by missing memories and a dangerous voice in his mind, while Kyrie is battling secrets, death itself, and the interference of a God who won’t leave him alone. The threats circling them are real, escalating, and deeply personal, turning their love into both a refuge and a risk. Watching them fight for each other — even when the truth could break them — is what gives the story its emotional weight. A dark, tender, high‑stakes romance where love refuses to back down, no matter how dangerous the world becomes. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: The Sex Coach by Garrett Leigh 4 of 5 stars

The Sex Coach

The Sex Coach by Garrett Leigh
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Toby, a shy twenty‑four‑year‑old stable hand and virgin, is instantly drawn to Cole, a single dad starting over on the farm. What begins as friendship quickly heats up as they teach each other confidence, desire, and self‑worth. One night changes everything, and both men realise they have just as much to learn from each other as they have to give.

I loved this warm, tender romance built on instant fascination that slowly deepens into something real and lasting. Toby and Cole can’t stop watching each other from the moment they meet — the shy stable hand and the single dad who’s trying to rebuild his life. That spark quickly turns physical, but what makes their story so special is how naturally desire grows into love. Their connection feels genuine and sweet, especially as Toby falls just as hard for Cole’s daughter as he does for Cole himself. The way he steps into their little world with such care adds a beautiful layer of heart to the story. A gentle, sexy, and heartfelt read about first times, unexpected chemistry, and a love that expands to include family. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Emil by Kerry Kilpatrick 4 of 5 stars

Emil

Emil by Kerry Kilpatrick
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Anders thinks he’s found the perfect dominant partner, but everything collapses when his boyfriend uses him, manipulates him, and even frames him for financial misconduct. Heartbroken and blamed, he’s left with nothing. Emil, his steady and perceptive boss, sees the truth. He knows Anders wasn’t foolish — just devoted to the wrong man — and he refuses to let him be discarded. Emil offers support, protection, and the kind of steady care Anders has always needed. If Anders can learn to trust again, Emil is ready to show him a love that won’t fail him.

I loved this story that delivered a heartfelt blend of healing, justice, and devotion. Emil stands out as a truly remarkable partner — not because he’s perfect, but because he’s willing to learn how to be exactly what Anders needs. His patience, steadiness, and determination to become the best Daddy for Anders gives the book its emotional core. While Anders struggles with the betrayal and manipulation that left him framed for financial misconduct, Emil quietly takes charge of uncovering the truth. He protects Anders not just with authority, but with genuine care, proving that love can be both gentle and fiercely loyal. Their relationship grew through trust, communication, and Emil’s unwavering belief that Anders deserved to be cherished. A tender, restorative romance where justice is served and love becomes a safe place to land. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like Daddy/boy dynamic.

Review: Bound in Heat and Snow by Kota Quinn 3 of 5 stars

Bound in Heat and Snow

Bound in Heat and Snow by Kota Quinn
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Thorne, a lion‑shifter alpha, and Hayden, a human who has no idea shifters exist, share what’s meant to be a single magical night — passionate, romantic, and unforgettable. But Hayden can’t stop thinking about Thorne and Thorne can't stop thinking about Hayden, and fate clearly has other plans when they cross paths again. As their connection deepens, Hayden slowly discovers the truth about Thorne and the fated‑mate bond pulling them together.

I enjoyed this novella that was pure Christmas magic wrapped in a fated‑mates romance. Thorne and Hayden’s connection is instant, powerful, and impossible to deny — the kind of bond that feels written in the stars long before either of them understands it. Their chemistry was warm and tender, but the sense of destiny between them was what makes the story shine. Set against a backdrop of snow, sparkle, and holiday wonder, their journey feels like stepping into a cosy Christmas wish come true. This novella blends sweetness, heat, and that unmistakable festive glow, creating a love story that feels both enchanting and inevitable. A perfect holiday read for anyone who believes in fate, warmth, and the magic of the season. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
