Mafia hitman Jagger discovered with his work partner Grant that their bosses ran a human trafficking operation out of the basement of one of their warehouses. As a former Wilderness Explorer leader, he has never forgotten his nephew's best friend who had gone missing but could never be found. Then he runs into him at a club - 20-year-old Sparrow still carries his sparrow stuffy around but instead of his badges he had from the wilderness explorer troop he carries knives. Jagger knows he should resist Sparrow but he needs to decide if he leaves things as they were or if he becomes his Daddy.
This story followed the second of the three boys who were determined to go through the black book to kill some of the men who were happy to use and abuse the boys who were trapped in the warehouse. I loved Sparrow who was so determined and ruthless and yet at the same time was definitely a Little who needed a Daddy to love and care for him. I loved the way that he knew what and who he wanted and had spent his captivity using that dream as a coping mechanism. They were such a sweet couple and I completely understood why the drama at the end of the story had the completion it did. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story containing BDSM-like behaviours with DDLB. There is a guaranteed HEA. This story follows and involves the characters from the Italian Protectors trilogy.
