The discovery of Terrence's secret makes him vulnerable when his father goes missing in action. He is ill-equipped to deal with the consequences of everything and so Warner steps in to help - something that makes him very happy as he is all he has ever wanted. Warner wants to reveal to Terrence that he is actually a Daddy and so when the opportunity presents itself Warner chooses to risk everything for love and chooses Terrence over his friendship with his father.
This was a sweet story with a Little who just wanted Warner and need his help as well as his love. I enjoyed the way that his father's friends rallied around him to make sure that he was safe and cared for in a way that allowed him to be little and healthy. It was emotional to see the way that he was treated when his father went missing but it was heartening to see how his father's friends were determined to get to the bottom of everything. I loved the relationship between Warner and Terrence. Easy to read, feel and understand. There is mature MM content in this BSDM like DDLB type story. This novella is part of the A Little Christmas series where the stories are all stand-alone and can be read in any order.
