Nick knew what he wanted even though it was messed up. Bullying is wrong, but a deep part of him hasn't gotten the message as each time Kyle approached him in school and called him a name or name him feel short and weak it made his knees shake and sent shameful butterflies racing around his stomach. This was at the heart of it a love story which was behind the humiliation play which seemed to get them both aroused to a similar amount. I loved the description of their frustration and troubles with their parents. Easy to read and understand.
