Review: A Little Christmas: Noah by Jamie Kassel 3 of 5 stars

A Little Christmas: Noah

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Noah Roberts had tried to be a good slave for his master but nothing was ever good enough. A friend gives him a way out with the offer of a place to stay and so he bravely accepts. Jensen Nichols lives alone in his monochromatic apartment with a great view so he can look at people but not engage with them. Noah changes all of that with his life and colour even though he is struggling to be away from his master and feeling guilty for leaving. Noah is scared and at serious risk of going back to the abusive situation he was in, so Noah and Jensen come to a new agreement where Noah is a boy and Jensen will be his daddy while he gets stronger and able to support himself.

I found this a little confusing as I could see that they both needed each other and I could also see them developing a relationship but I wasn't convinced that it was definitely going to be a permanent arrangement. It was easy to read and understand and I loved the way that Noah finally stood up for himself against his former master. There is mature MM content in this BSDM like DDLB type story. This novella is part of the A Little Christmas series where the stories are all stand-alone and can be read in any order.
