Finally feeling as if he is someone, Daddy Romeo is invited to the Christmas Ball at Little Heart Manor which introduces him to a lot of new business connections. Danny dreads Christmas as it reminds him of all that he lost five years ago at this time of year as now he is constantly abused by someone who should have protected him. Daddy Romeo discovers that everything is not as it seems when he meets sweet Danny who wears pain beneath his smile and he starts to investigate what is going on. Danny finally starts to hope and see a way out when all he sees is kindness from the gentle Daddy with the kind eyes. Will they have to sacrifice their deepest desire to be together?
This was such a sad story as Romeo realised what was happening and the kind of life and ordeal that Danny was subjected to. It was also sad to see how people had turned a blind eye to it or at least not wanted to know how bad it was. I loved the way that it liked very nicely into another series by the same author - the Biker Daddy Bodyguards Series on amazon.com Easy to read and understand. I was definitely rooting for Danny who was just a darling. There is mature MM content in this BSDM like DDLB type story. This novella is part of the A Little Christmas series where the stories are all stand-alone and can be read in any order.
