Mitch had spent the last twelve years in prison and dreaming about his plans for when he gets out. The last thing he expected was to be abducted on the same day he is released and definitely not by the boy who is responsible for his criminal record. But Cesare Lacovelli is no longer the snivelling, pathetic and abused boy that Mitch protected on the day. He is now the Boss of the entire family and one glimpse of the onesie beneath the boy's expensive suit is enough to make his knees go weak. Cesare never forgets the man who saved his life at the expense of his own freedom and so when he abducts him to get close to him he doesn't count on it affecting him so much and it doesn't take long for his teenage crush to develop into full-blown love. As Cesare and Mitch grow closer, how can Cesare be sure of Mitch’s feelings when he forces Mitch to stay by his side out of a sense of duty?
I loved this story with the resentment from Mitch, the damaged Cesare, and the devotion to each other and their care for the other. It took some time for Mitch to recognise that what he felt was love, but I have to say to many of the others in the story it was fairly obvious. Lots of drama, danger and twists and turns in this story. Easy to read, feel and understand. A lovely HEA. This MM story contains mature content consisting of BDSM-like DDLB behaviours and a trigger-happy Mob-Boss boy with his ex-convict daddy. There will be torture and gratuitous violence.
