Amalia Sanchez was looking for a way out of a situation when she took a job making over The Outpost but when she got there she also got a blast from the past and a second chance at love even though she is trying not to add the mess of her own life to that of the man she had a one night stand with four years ago, Mitch Hartley. That one night changed her life and introduced her to kink and power exchange and now Mitch has taken her to Club Solitaire to show her what they have hoping to tempt her to give him a chance. Does she walk away from it again, or does she trust Mitch to save her?
I enjoyed this story and it was great to be back with the folks at Club Solitaire and the characters that I know from reading other books. It was easy to read, feel and understand as we got more involved with the couple and their complicated lives. Contains mature content of a BDSM nature with D/s relationships.
