Jacob Shelton might have been born into a wealthy family but it was a loveless existence with only people at school as his companions. Then that suddenly stopped and he found out what life was like the hard way. Richard Worthington just wanted a boy of his own who he could nurture, care for, pamper and spoil in a forever relationship when all he found were sugar babies who just wanted him for this money. When their paths cross in a chance meeting it is a life-or-death decision that brings them together.
I liked this story with the cruelty of humanity very much on show and then the kindness of a stranger which turned into something that they were both happy and comfortable with. I loved the way that Richard was so gentle with Jacob and how he was determined to not take advantage of Richard. I loved the canteen ladies at the school who were so caring and gentle and were definite heroes. Easy to read and understand. There is mature MM content in this BSDM like DDLB type story. This novella is part of the A Little Christmas series where the stories are all stand-alone and can be read in any order.
