Luca has waited on tables in the Tap Tavern for years and in the last six months he has had his relationship with his coworkers change from acquaintances to friends. After letting it slip that he is an unattached boy they are out to find him a Daddy for Christmas. But Harrison is the only unattached Daddy there and although he is rich and gorgeous he only plays and never commits. As holiday giving is in full swing Luca sees the heart that is behind Harrison's arrogance which leaves him confused - the sexy man in suits with a huge ego is not supposed to be fun and willing to get his hands dirty. Luca isn’t sure he buys into Christmas magic, but by the time this season is done, he may just believe that Harrison is the gift his heart needs.
I loved this story where Luca discovers that what you see on the surface is not what you get or see deep down if you only look and that there is a thin line between love and hate. There were times when I felt sorry for Harrison and the way that Luca was so down on him so I was thrilled when he saw Harrison for real and understood the man. A lovely look back at the Takoda world and with such a great Christmas message of giving and helping others. Easy to read, feel and understand this will make you smile. An MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like Daddy/boy relationship.
