In Boston, a serial killer is targeting the gay community, leaving dead bodies marked with cryptic letters. Lead detective Gary Mitchell is forced to engage in this twisted game. As the murders escalate, a desperate Gary, despite his skepticism, accepts help from Dan Porter, a psychic who claims he can offer crucial insights into the killer's mind. Dan, who has lived with his psychic abilities his entire life, feels compelled to help but wants to keep his involvement secret due to past negative experiences with the police and press. However, his growing connection with Gary distracts him from the true danger. As they get closer to solving the case, Dan realizes he has become the killer's next target.
I loved this story with the mystery of who were the serial killer and how the police were going to catch him. Add to that the sizzling dynamic between Gary and Dan and it was a book that I couldn't put down. When the killer set his sights on Dan I was just hoping that Gary and the team would figure out the clues in time. Great character and world development. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
