Review: In Plain Sight by K.C. Wells 4 of 5 stars

In Plain Sight

In Plain Sight by K.C. Wells
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Detective Gary Mitchell and psychic Dan Porter dive into two puzzling cold cases—a headless body from 2006 and a fatal rooftop fall from two years ago. While one case pulls them into perilous depths, the other seems like a dead end… until potential connections emerge. As Gary juggles his complex work life, a blossoming relationship with Dan, and the haunting search for answers about his brother's murder, layers of deception and danger begin to close in. With secrets lurking around every corner, uncovering the truth might come at a steep cost.

I loved this story where the tension between personal vulnerability and professional risk made the story simmer. The mysteries in the cold cases and the potential people involved added to the tension as they dealt with long held and often hidden secrets. Their own relationship seemed to go from strength to strength. This set of mysteries had me addicted all the way through the book. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
