Review: Out of Sight by K.C. Wells 4 of 5 stars

Out of Sight

Out of Sight by K.C. Wells
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Detective Gary Mitchell and psychic Dan Porter are back in action, investigating a new cold case that may be linked to Gary’s brother’s unsolved murder. Just as their life in Boston begins to feel stable, forensic evidence from a botched robbery points to eerie similarities with the past. Following both the trail of clues and Dan’s psychic insights, they’re pulled into a dangerous underworld where trust is a luxury and threats are everywhere. As the investigation escalates, Gary and Dan must race against time—because failure could trigger consequences far beyond anything they've faced before.

I enjoyed this story where you can see their relationship settling in and deepening. However, what started as a quiet routine soon morphed into something which had the echoes of old wounds. The plot that they ended up investigating as part of the linked cold cases was far deeper and more serious than they could have ever imagined. Dan was invaluable with his skills but Gary's intuition also played a valuable part too. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
