Jules, a merman-siren, fled a traumatic past and found refuge in Mistvale, where he’s built a peaceful life and a thriving business. But something—or someone—keeps tugging at his attention: a shy dolphin shifter who’s been quietly trailing him for weeks. I loved this story of quiet devotion, emotional recovery, and the courage to believe you’re worthy of love. Jules's traumatic past came back to test them, their relationship and the protections in Mistvale which provided danger and drama. Their relationship was really quite sweet. Plenty of emotions and feelings in this story which was an MM story with mature content.
