Izzy’s life is full of sparkle—he decorates homes for the holidays, just bought his first house, and has his best friend Leo by his side. But what he really wants is a Daddy… specifically, Leo’s straight-laced, brooding father, Joe. Joe, a nearly fifty-year-old police officer, feels like life is passing him by. Divorced, lonely, and dealing with a secret lactation issue, he longs for someone to care for—someone who actually wants his intense, nurturing love. When a snowstorm traps Izzy and Joe together, sparks fly and boundaries blur. Joe isn’t as straight as he thought, and Izzy might finally get the milk-soaked cuddles he’s been dreaming of. But as Joe’s identity shifts and emotions deepen, they’ll have to decide if this unexpected connection can weather the changes ahead.
I enjoyed this story of self-discovery, kink-positive love, and the joy of finding someone who wants you just as you are. I liked that Joe was already doing some of the role of Daddy already - he just didn't know it. A sweet Christmas story although the twist with Leo was a step too far and added a touch of bizarre. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a Daddy/boy dynamic with male lactation.
