My rating: 3 of 5 stars
After heartbreak and betrayal, George Winslow retreats into solitude, determined to avoid emotional entanglements. But when a spilt glass of Lactin Brotherhood milk triggers unexpected vulnerability, his aloof yet nurturing tenant, Cyrus Russo, steps in—offering comfort through nursing, a gesture that defies convention and awakens deeper needs. As their unconventional bond grows, George finds solace in Cyrus’s quiet strength and reliability. Yet Cyrus, burdened by his own past, resists the idea of love. When George’s ex resurfaces, threatening the fragile peace they’ve built, Cyrus must confront his fears and choose whether to walk away or fight for the connection that’s transformed them both.
I enjoyed this story with the two men fulfilling a need for each other and how that brought them much closer. I enjoyed the chat that Cyrus had with his colleague, who basically gave him some badly needed home truths. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic with male lactation.
