Review: The Dragon's Aide by Amy Padilla 4 of 5 stars

The Dragon's Aide

The Dragon's Aide by Amy Padilla
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Isaac defied his family’s military legacy to chase his own dreams. When offered a chance to gain real-world experience, he jumps in—only to find himself working under Maverick, a notoriously temperamental dragon whose fury is feared across the office. Maverick, burned out and barely holding it together, reluctantly agrees to take on an assistant. But Isaac, with his pink hair and unshakable resolve, isn’t what Maverick expected. As sparks fly and tempers flare, Maverick’s control begins to unravel… and his dragon instincts start to awaken in ways he never anticipated. Now, with his career on the brink and emotions running high, Maverick must decide whether to push Isaac away—or let the mage who drives him mad be the one to save him.

I loved this fiery blend of defiance, vulnerability, and unexpected connection. The story was full of tension, charm, and slow-burn magic in this workplace fantasy romance. I loved Maverick who was just so funny with all of his temper and fury. Lots of emotions and feelings that were easy to feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
