My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Connor Jenkins is a lonely hacker who’s given up on real relationships, choosing instead to spy on strangers—until he crosses a line and hacks his idol, reclusive rock star Brendan Shyth. Brendan, still grieving the loss of his lover and the collapse of his music career, lives in isolation. But when he discovers Connor watching him through his webcam, he does the unthinkable: he has the boy kidnapped. What begins as punishment turns into something far more complicated. Connor’s irreverent charm stirs Brendan’s long-buried emotions, while Brendan’s haunted vulnerability offers Connor the stability he’s never known. Together, they confront ghosts—both literal and emotional—as they navigate trauma, trust, and the possibility of healing. But with fame, sanity, and fragile hearts at stake, can they find harmony before everything falls apart?
I enjoyed this twisted, redemptive love story where voyeurism meets vulnerability, and broken souls find unexpected solace in each other. I loved the ghostly interaction and how Connor was finally able to get Brendan to believe that Frankie was really there and that he was not going mad. Lots of emotions and feelings in this story. This was an MMM story with mature content and a Daddy/boy dynamic.
