Hamish Kenneally, seeking a fresh start in the US, gets stranded in Montana just before Christmas due to a snowstorm. His detour leads him to Ren Brooks, a lonely hardware store owner in the small town of Hartbridge, who’s grieving his father and resigned to a quiet, loveless holiday. When Hamish crashes near Ren’s property, Ren rescues him and offers shelter. What begins as a temporary arrangement turns into something more heartfelt, as the two men bond over festive decorations, cookies, and unexpected companionship. Despite the blizzard and missed plans, their connection brings warmth and hope—suggesting that sometimes, the best kind of Christmas miracle is simply finding someone who understands you.

I loved this Christmas story with the two men who met after Hamish's bad luck with his travels and the weather. The story was rich with healing, serendipity, and the quiet magic of found family. The story was typical from this author and so full of emotions, feelings and is highly likely to cause you to cry. This is an MM story with mature content.
