Review: Drawn to Death by Charlotte Brice 4 of 5 stars

Drawn to Death

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Talon is a hitman whose latest target appears online in a detailed sketch drawn by an artist named Quell. Talon is ordered to eliminate Quell, but discovers that the artist isn't a witness; he's a recluse who draws murders before they happen. This psychic connection between the two men becomes a dangerous game of cat and mouse, with Quell's art exposing Talon's work and Talon's surveillance turning into an unsettling obsession. The line between hunter and hunted blurs as they become drawn to one another, testing the boundaries of fear, trust, and survival.

I loved this dark story which was like a slow-burning collision between violence and vulnerability. Talon was obsessed with Quell who in his own way was obsessed with Talon through their connection via his dreams. I loved their relationship and how they were prepared to burn bridges for each other. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
