Review: My Demon Assistant by Stella Rainbow 4 of 5 stars

My Demon Assistant

My Demon Assistant by Stella Rainbow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jerry thinks his new assistant is just quirky—he mixes up phrases, bakes cookies, and is unfailingly punctual. But when Jerry finds him bleeding and learns he’s a demon—and Jerry’s fated mate—his world flips upside down. As secrets unravel and trust is tested, Jerry must confront the betrayal of close friends who knew the truth all along. Despite the shock, he finds himself falling for his sweet, slightly chaotic assistant. Their bond deepens into something tender and transformative, blending paranormal intrigue with emotional healing.

I enjoyed this story, which was packed with fluff, found family, and gentle humour. It was a fun read as they had to cope with challenges within the business, their new relationship and problems with dark souls. I loved Jerry's dog Ted, who seemed to have inserted himself into his life quite forcefully. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
