Flynn flees to London only to be marked by a dangerously attractive demon, leaving dark magic growing inside him. His unexpected protector is Sebastián, a centuries‑old vampire who runs the city’s supernatural underworld and tries — unsuccessfully — to stay detached. As Flynn hides in Sebastián’s hotel and the demon closes in, their reluctant bond deepens, even while Sebastián struggles to keep his true nature secret.
This was such a fun PNR romance, packed with emotion, humour, and just the right amount of supernatural chaos. Sebastián is the perfect touch‑starved, emotionally guarded vampire, and Flynn — all golden‑retriever warmth and determination — is exactly the kind of human who would stubbornly (and adorably) break down those walls. Their dynamic is irresistible, especially once the sizzling scenes and serious fang action come into play. I loved the found‑family vibe of Killigrew Street, the snarky wolves, and the way both men carry deep emotional histories that shape who they are in the present. The story balances heart, heat, and supernatural drama beautifully, giving me plenty of feelings along the way. A thoroughly enjoyable, emotional, and entertaining read. This was an MM story with mature content.
