I loved watching Alec and Cronin’s connection deepen even further in this instalment. Their love feels stronger, steadier, and more certain than ever, and the discoveries they make about each other — and the effect they have on one another — only tighten that bond. Once again, danger circles them as others try to steal Alec’s power, but they face every threat side by side. With the help of both old friends and new allies, they navigated uncertainty, drama, and escalating risks, all while holding fast to the hope of an eternity together. What stayed with me most was their unwavering trust and the absolute certainty they have in each other. Their love is powerful, grounding, and beautifully constant, even when the world around them is anything but safe. This was an MM story with mature content.
