As soon as Shaw Chamberline graduated she wanted to leave and travel the world even though it meant that she left her family behind and broke her boyfriend's heart. She was working as a successful writer but had to return when her best friend decided to get married at the Crimson Moon Hideaway. Quade Hawthore never thought he would get over Shaw but he threw himself into his Marine Command career and then after ten years they were thrown together at their friends' wedding, but it appears that Shaw is not alone. Sparks fly between Quade and Shaw reminding everyone that distance really does make the heart grow fonder.
I enjoyed this story with the history between them, the introduction of their present situation and how they move forward in the future. Add to that someone evil who does not agree, and you get to see a drama of epic proportions. I loved that they fought for each other and they obviously cared for each other a great deal even though time had passed. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
