Hurricane is not a decent guy, not interested in commitment and women all know the score before they go near his bed. Then after a tragedy for him and the MC club he goes to get a memorial tattoo and meets Kaia who is the most feisty tattoo artist, makes his blood boil but he also aches for her in a way that he just cannot ignore. Their rivals are persistent and they no longer have clarity on who to trust when disaster strikes - he has what appears to be invited their enemy right in as he seems to be falling for her hard. When they hit the ground it is going to hurt - can they recover from it?
I loved this story. There was drama, politics, family squabbles and dilemmas around trust and betrayal. I loved that so much of this was around emotions and feelings - something that you do not associate with the leader of an MC club. Kaia was so feisty and strong-willed - the perfect partner to Hurricane. I feel the end result was a far more rounded person on both sides. I'm not looking forward to what happens next with the club as their rivals and previous partners are all going to probably come after them at some point. The writing was of a great standard and that meant it was easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content only suitable for adults.
