Maddison Hall is the most popular marriage broker in New York. She makes it her business to know everything about the most wanted bachelors and will sell their every dark secret to make one of them yours (or someone else's) forever. Career focussed Harlee found the perfect house to rent at a reasonable price too. Then the owner Cole Griffin walks into his house and finds a beautiful stranger in his bedroom and their battle for dominance and ownership begins. The question is, will the fire they are prepared to burn to win end up with them setting the house on fire of the sheets when they are between them?
I loved this story which was a clever premise with neither of them realising that they had been set up and also unwilling to give in to each other whether that was over territory in the house or over their attraction to each other. I'm convinced that their previous bad experiences made them at the right stage and time of their lives in order to find the right person for them. They had amazing chemistry and their witty comebacks were so funny at times. Easy to read and understand. I could feel myself rooting for them both just as equally. Contains lots of mature content.
