Jase is an alpha rabbit shifter and decided to stretch his legs only to have a brush with death. A young boy takes him for help to a farm to heal. Omega human Augustus is tying up the loose ends for his grandmother's estate when the bunny is placed into his care even though he knows nothing about them. He nurtures it back to health and grows more and more attached to the farm. August's life is turned upside down when Jase arrives at the farm naked and in need of shelter and is immediately drawn to him - even though he appears to have a secret.
I enjoyed this story which had some suitable levels of danger and drama while Augustus and Jase got to know each other as August realised that there were shifters all over the place - he just didn't realise. I loved the way that they cared for each other and that they were kind to a boy in need to the point that Jase would shift in order to make him happy. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content.
