Review: Framed by Mary E. Thompson 4 of 5 stars

Framed (F-Bomb: Curvy Vigilantes #2)

Framed by Mary E. Thompson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jessica was 33 and single having concentrated on her job even though for years she had been lusting after her boss's baby brother. She finally got a date with him, and then she found her best friend dead and then she knew she had to disappear as she was being framed for it. Firefighter Braden thought his friends were joking when they said his date was on the TV, apparently, his Jessica was wanted for murder. She wouldn't hurt anyone and definitely not her best friend, but then again innocent people don't run. Can they find and expose who set her up that would take a lot of resources. With everyone looking for her she had no idea where to start, but she was willing to fight to find the truth and justice.

I really enjoyed this story which had the dual aspect of the mystery of who killed her best friend and the undeniable pull between Jessica and Braden. I loved the way that their friends did what they could within the restriction on them in order to try and protect her and find the right killer whilst at the same time we had the romance between Jessica and Braden from his doubts about her innocence and the way that they just could not keep their hands off each other. There was a large amount of drama and danger whilst also lots of tenderness. There was also a major twist at the end of the story which I did not see coming. Contains some mature content. If you weren't before you will be addicted to this series now.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
