Maddison Hall is a marriage broker in New York and is now facing the hardest task of her career - finding a wife for her son. Oden Elias has Greek lineage and is successful at everything he does but is not interested in anyone trapping him into a wedding. Skylar Cooper is not a member of the Oden fan club and her biggest wish is to see him burn in hell because on small lie has turned her into his hostage, This means that she has to play the role of his loyal and obedient fiancee - she just hasn't learned how to do that yet.
I adored this story with the farce between them both as assumptions were made (incorrectly) and yet deep down they were both desperate to be together. There were moments when I laughed out loud while reading this (and attracted bemused looks from other people near me), times when I almost wanted to cry for them and definitely times when I just wanted to give them both a hug. I loved the way that their relationship was built and the way it concluded just made me cry it was so emotional and romantic. Seriously the levels of planning that were involved in this relationship and marriage were just simply genius. Contains some mature content.
