I loved this story which was packed with emotional tension, slow‑burn longing, and the kind of high‑stakes vulnerability that makes bodyguard romances so addictive. I also loved that love became very thing that raised the stakes, because losing each other would hurt more than any threat. I think that the story also showed that intimacy requires trust and trust requires vulnerability, which is the one thing both men struggled with. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
