Kendrick agrees to fake‑date Balfour, Santa’s grumpiest head elf, to help him survive the holidays without his family nagging him. The plan is simple: pretend to be in love, get through Christmas, then stage a quiet breakup. But thanks to Kendrick’s meddling brother, they end up sharing a room — and a bed — in Santa’s Village, where mistletoe kisses start feeling a little too real. What began as enemies‑to‑friends quickly shifts into something deeper as Kendrick sees a softer, unexpected side of Balfour during his surprise heat. Their forced closeness sparks genuine feelings, leaving Kendrick wondering if their fake romance could become the real thing. Now he just has one Christmas wish: for Santa to make Balfour his for good.
This was a sweet Christmas story set in Sweet Alps and Santa's Village. I loved that Bal was caring and protective of Kendrick Kendrick and not grumpy at all when he realised that pretending to be in love had become indistinguishable from actually falling in love. I also loved that the story showed that intimacy isn’t just physical — it’s about being seen at your most unguarded and still being wanted. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
