Levi has been secretly in love with Noah for years, holding onto hope even as it breaks his heart. He’s saved every part of himself for Noah — but Noah has never shown interest in anyone, and Levi finally thinks it’s time to move on. Noah has never felt desire the way others do, but when Levi’s life is shaken by unexpected news, something shifts between them. For the first time, Noah feels real want — and it’s for his best friend. As their bond deepens and confusion grows, it becomes clear to everyone else that their feelings run far deeper than friendship. Levi and Noah just need a little push to see what’s been right in front of them all along.
I loved this beautifully emotional friends‑to‑lovers story that digs deep into longing, fear, and the courage it takes to finally reach for what you want. Levi’s years of unrequited love are portrayed with such tenderness that you feel every ache of his hope and heartbreak. Noah’s journey is just as compelling — watching him try to work out how he experiences sexuality (is he ace, demisexual or what) and then experience desire and confusion for the first time adds a raw, vulnerable layer to the story. Their relationship shifts slowly, shaped by grief, comfort, and the kind of connection that’s been quietly building for years. The emotional themes shine: the pain of wanting someone you think you can’t have, the fear of ruining a lifelong bond, and the joy of realising love has been right beside you all along. A heartfelt, intimate romance that lingers as it makes you smile and also at times cry. This was an MM story with mature content.
