An emotional story about two men carrying very different kinds of damage — Quincy, still hurting from the brutal severing of his bond, and Jack, weighed down by the control and expectations of his powerful father. Their connection was immediate and intense, giving both of them something to hold on to even when the world around them spirals into chaos. The plot can feel wild at times, but the heart of the story — their bond and their fight for freedom — stays strong. I especially enjoyed the unexpected tie‑in with the Bangers and Mash company, which grounded the story and added a fun sense of continuity. A turbulent, passionate read with plenty of emotion and grit. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse.
