Review: Sammy's Lost Sailboat by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Sammy's Lost Sailboat

Sammy's Lost Sailboat by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Sammy, a meticulous creature of habit, inherits his grandfather’s cabin — and somehow manages to lose the sailboat that comes with it. The man who returns it is the first daddy Sammy can imagine wanting for more than casual play, leaving him hoping he’ll finally be brave enough to say so.

A sweet, feel‑good novella with an undeniable connection between Sammy and Will, the man who brings back his lost sailboat. The coincidence that puts them both at the lake at the same time feels charming and sets up a gentle, natural spark between them. I loved how they spent time together in big moments and little ones, which made their relationship feel more rounded and believable. It’s soft, cosy, and heart‑warming — exactly the kind of story that leaves you smiling. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Rowan's Lost Backpack by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Rowan's Lost Backpack

Rowan's Lost Backpack by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Rowan accidentally grabs the wrong backpack at Chained and ends up with a stranger’s work bag instead of his little gear. After a night of panicking, he reaches out to the owner and is called to a major law firm the next morning. There he meets Summit — a powerful, gorgeous Daddy who already has Rowan’s real backpack and clearly understands exactly what its contents mean.

This short story was such a sweet, fated‑feeling romance. Rowan and Summit only meet because of a mixed‑up backpack, but it genuinely feels like destiny — they fit together so naturally. I loved how Rowan gently encouraged Summit to work smarter, giving him more time for himself and for the relationship they were building. It was also lovely to see them take the time to grow as both boyfriends and as a Daddy/little pairing, letting trust and understanding develop at a steady pace. The whole story is easy to read, warm, and emotionally satisfying — a charming, low‑stress romance with a perfect accidental‑meeting start. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Ridge's Lost Keys by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Ridge's Lost Keys (Found by Daddy Book 18)

Ridge's Lost Keys by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ridge locks himself out of the flat while wearing dinosaur pyjamas, his keys lost down the trash chute. Mortified, he’s rescued by Memphis, the handsome neighbour who takes him in, calls for help, and treats him with unexpected gentleness — leaving Ridge wondering if this embarrassing mishap might actually be the start of something lucky.

I enjoyed this sweet, low‑angst story, especially the gentle connection that grows between Ridge and Memphis. Their relationship has an easy charm, and I liked how they worked together to find practical compromises for living together — it made their dynamic feel grounded and supportive. That said, I would have loved a bit more emotional depth. The story is warm and pleasant, but it doesn’t dive as deeply into feelings as I hoped it would. Still, it’s an easy, enjoyable read with a cute pairing and a satisfying ending. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Hal's Lost Unicorn by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Hal's Lost Unicorn

Hal's Lost Unicorn by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Hal has a rough start in a new town when he gets stranded in the rain with a flat tire and no way to call for help. A kind stranger named August stops and helps him, and in an emotional moment, Hal opens up about everything going wrong in his life. Wanting to repay him, Hal secretly gives him his treasured unicorn bracelet. The next day at work, Hal is shocked to discover August is his boss—and still has the bracelet—hinting their connection might not be over just yet.

This was such a sweet, feel-good read! Watching Hal stumble into meeting August—who turns out to be the Daddy of his dreams—was absolutely adorable. Their relationship is full of warmth and tenderness, and it’s clear they’re perfect for each other in every way, whether Hal is feeling little or big. The dynamic between them just works so naturally, making their connection even more heart-melting. A cute novella that’s guaranteed to leave you smiling by the end. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Ernie's Lost Puppy by Della Cain by Katea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Ernie's Lost Puppy

Ernie's Lost Puppy by Della Cain by Katea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ernie has always relied on Pup‑Pup, the stuffed puppy given to him years ago by the ER doctor who treated him after an accident. That doctor, Jovan, told him to hold the toy whenever life felt overwhelming, and it became Ernie’s constant source of comfort. On the day of an important job interview, Ernie breaks his own rule and brings Pup‑Pup along for courage — only to lose him when a real dog snatches him from his bag. When the dog’s owner returns the toy, Ernie is stunned to realise it’s Jovan himself. The doctor who once soothed him as a frightened patient is now looking at him with recognition, warmth, and interest — not as someone to care for, but as someone he wants to know. Their unexpected reunion turns a moment of panic into the beginning of something hopeful and deeply personal.

A sweet, gentle story built around a lost stuffie, a mischievous dog named Zoe, and the unexpected reunion it sparks. Ernie’s panic over losing Pup‑Pup turns into a lovely moment when Jovan — the doctor who once comforted him years ago — is the one who returns it, and their steps toward a relationship feel warm and hopeful. I especially loved the care Jovan shows Ernie; his patience and kindness give the story its heart. Ernie’s hesitation did feel a little bit silly at times, which held the emotional depth back just a touch, but the overall tone is soft, comforting, and easy to enjoy. A short, sweet read that leaves you smiling. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Daddy's Little Christmas Present by Della Cain by Katea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Daddy's Little Christmas Present

Daddy's Little Christmas Present by Della Cain by Katea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Vaughn plans to skip Christmas after a terrible holiday the year before, but someone has other ideas. Secret Santa gifts start appearing everywhere — at his office, on his car, even at home — each one thoughtful enough to break through his holiday avoidance. It doesn’t take long for Vaughn to realize the gift‑giver is Gunnar, the shy little who works in his building. Once he figures it out, Vaughn decides to turn the tables and show Gunnar exactly what it means to be spoiled by a devoted daddy.

This novella is pure holiday sweetness, and it all begins with Gunnar’s quiet, heartfelt kindness. After Vaughn’s terrible Christmas the year before, he’s determined to ignore the season entirely — until Gunnar starts leaving thoughtful Secret Santa gifts that slowly pull him back into the warmth he thought he’d lost. What makes the story so charming is how those small gestures grow into something deeper. Gunnar’s sweetness and care open a door Vaughn didn’t realise he needed, and watching Vaughn soften, smile, and finally let himself be cherished is incredibly satisfying. A tender, festive romance about healing, generosity, and the unexpected joy that comes when someone decides you deserve a little Christmas magic. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Their Little House Edwin by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Their Little House Edwin

Their Little House Edwin by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Edwin’s life unravels in an instant. One day he’s thriving in his dream job, settled in the city he planned to call home forever; the next, his department is cut, and he’s forced to choose between unemployment or relocating across the country. Panicked, he accepts the transfer — and ends up alone in a new city, living in a long‑term hotel and questioning every decision he’s ever made. The one bright spot is Chained, a local club where Edwin can freely embrace his little side. When he discovers that a shared house full of littles — affectionately called Little House — has an open room, it feels like the perfect chance to finally belong somewhere. But settling in brings a new complication: Edwin is drawn to a daddy called Cliff who already has a little, Brax. Spending time with them both only deepens the connection, leaving Edwin torn between desire, boundaries, and the hope that maybe there’s space for him too. At Little House, what happens behind closed doors stays there — but Edwin’s heart may not follow the rules.

I enjoyed this story. This is a sweet, heartfelt little‑space romance about starting over, finding community, and discovering where you truly belong. Edwin’s life is upended when he’s forced to relocate across the country, and the loneliness of that transition is written with such honesty. His relief at finding Chained — and later Little House — feels like watching someone finally exhale after holding their breath for far too long. The found‑family vibes are wonderful, and the dynamic between Edwin, Brax, and Brax’s daddy Cliff adds a tender, complicated layer that gives the story real emotional depth. Edwin’s longing, his uncertainty, and his quiet hope that there might be room for him too makes the journey both touching and engaging. Warm, vulnerable, and full of soft intimacy, this is a lovely read for anyone who enjoys gentle kink‑positive romance, supportive communities, and characters searching for a place where they can be fully themselves. This was an MMM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: A Little Snowed In by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 4 of 5 stars

A Little Snowed In

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Paxton agrees to check out a cabin for his boss on his way home for Christmas, but an unexpected snowstorm leaves him stranded. Inside the cabin, he’s stunned to find Nico — his first love, the one who got away. Years ago, Paxton never confessed his feelings, afraid that revealing his desire for a daddy/little dynamic would drive Nico away. Now, snowed in together with only one bed and plenty of time, Paxton sees this as his chance to finally be honest. With Christmas magic swirling around them, he musters the courage to admit his truth and risk rejection, knowing he can’t spend his life wondering “what if.” What follows is a tender, Hallmark-style holiday romance filled with stuffies, cookies, glitter, and second chances. Paxton and Nico rediscover their connection, find acceptance in each other, and realize that the greatest gift of all is true love and the promise of new beginnings.

I loved this story which was about rediscovering love, embracing vulnerability, and finding the courage to claim happiness during the magic of Christmas. I loved how the story explored how authenticity can feel risky but is the foundation of lasting love. I also loved how love was portrayed as the ultimate present — one that outshines all others and lasts beyond the season. A sweet second chance Christmas story. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Ocean's Lost Octopus by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Ocean's Lost Octopus

Ocean's Lost Octopus by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ocean appears every inch the powerful executive — suited up, commanding a corner office, and thriving as a vice president. Yet beneath the polished exterior, he longs for comfort, care, and the tender dynamic of being a little with a daddy. His treasured octopus stuffie is his nightly companion, a reminder of the love he once had but lost when his former daddy chose a more conventional family life. Three years later, Ocean is still alone, until a faulty fire alarm forces him out of his apartment — and he discovers his beloved octopus missing. This small loss becomes the catalyst for something much bigger: the arrival of Duncan, a man ready to be the daddy Ocean has been yearning for. Their story unfolds with snuggles, cuddles, footie pajamas, playful adventures, and the promise of true love. What begins with the loss of a stuffie transforms into a journey of healing, new beginnings, and the rediscovery of intimacy and belonging.

I enjoyed this story about how losing something small can lead to finding something profound — the love, care, and true daddy Ocean has always needed. I loved how the story explored how identity is multifaceted — strength in public can coexist with vulnerability in private, and both are equally valid. I also loved that belonging can be found not in status or success, but in relationships that honour our most authentic selves. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: A Little Christmas: Star by Della Cain by Laytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

A Little Christmas: Star

A Little Christmas: Star by Della Cain by Laytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Most people can avoid the one who got away. Not Caelum. His is on every billboard in town. Star was Caelum’s first love, the one he thought he’d be with forever. But just a week after Caelum found the courage to ask him out, Star got the call that changed everything. He dropped out of college and flew across the country to star in his first made-for-TV movie. He promised to come back and finish his freshman year, but that role led to another and another. Their daily calls became weekly calls, became holiday calls, became silent. Now, Star is one of the biggest names in Hollywood. Caelum is happy for him—he found everything he dreamed of and more. But that doesn’t stop Caelum from thinking about all the could’ve beens. When a man barges into Caelum’s office and begs to be hidden, he recognises him instantly. It’s Star. Is this Caelum’s Christmas wish come true, or is he headed toward heartbreak once again?

I loved this story, which was layered with romance, fame, longing, and the possibility of redemption — but at its heart, it’s about whether love can survive time, distance, and ambition. I also loved that Caelum saw Star not just as a partner but as the person he was meant to be with forever, and that their fading communication — daily calls dwindling into silence — embodied the universal pain of watching intimacy dissolve. Sadly for Caelum, as the “one who got away”, Star became both a personal heartbreak and a public reminder, as his face was on billboards, making escape impossible. Several emotions and feelings were covered in this story, but they were not as in-depth as they could have been. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLN dynamic.

Review: Daddy's Little Camping Trip by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Daddy's Little Camping Trip

Daddy's Little Camping Trip by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a story about Quill, a man who prefers luxury and city life, but signs up for a week-long camping trip at "Little Summer Camp" to impress a man he's interested in. Quill would rather be on a relaxing vacation with spas and fine dining, and he initially has no interest in a rugged camping trip. However, when a man he's been watching, a "hot daddy" named Gilbraith, asks if he's going, Quill immediately agrees. He instantly regrets his impulsive decision, but the prospect of spending time with Gilbraith is enough to make him face a week of dirt, bugs, and bears.

This was a sweet story about the two men who met via their shared kinks and a club camping trip. As with this type of story it is also an instalove. There was some scene setting but it was quite high level. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Their Little House Boston by Della Cain by Katea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Their Little House Boston

Their Little House Boston by Della Cain by Katea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

After being pushed out of a shared apartment by a roommate’s returning ex, Boston finds refuge in a charming old house—recommended with the cryptic assurance that the tenants are “just like you.” Expecting a shared sexual orientation, he discovers instead that the house is full of “littles”—a community unfamiliar to him. Rather than risk exclusion by confessing he doesn’t fully understand the culture, he choose quiet observation. But as days pass, the warmth and trust of the household begin to resonate deeply, awakening questions about his own identity. Maybe he belongs here more than he thought.

This was a sweet story about two littles - Elliott and Boston - and their Daddy Tripp. I loved the way that their relationship started with joint and separate dates with the associated "tax". Some emotions and feelings as they sorted out their individual relationships and overall relationship. A feel good story to make you smile. This was an MMM story with mature and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: BJ's Lost Crayons by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

BJ's Lost Crayons

BJ's Lost Crayons by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

BJ clings to a deeply personal collection of retired crayons, particularly the elusive violet-blue—a symbol of his own past sense of being cherished, then forgotten. When a box containing the collection is lost during a stressful move, BJ’s quiet world is shaken. Desperate, he reaches out to the community, and when Glenn from the moving company unexpectedly replies that he’s found it, relief floods in… accompanied by a telltale spark. Gratitude and attraction blur in the final moment, hinting at a deeper connection beneath the surface of a simple recovery.

This story was soft, symbolic, and laced with a hopeful ache. It was quietly intimate and brimming with understated longing. There were a few issues. There was no discussion before they had bare sex and some of their conversations were summarised so I wondered what had been removed. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Their Little House Tristan by Della Cain by Katea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Their Little House Tristan

Their Little House Tristan by Della Cain by Katea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Tristan’s dreams of graduation are put on hold when a revoked scholarship forces him to return home—where acceptance is in short supply. Landing a job at Chained gives him financial stability, but his parents’ ultimatum leaves him with a difficult choice. A house share offers him the freedom to be himself, and soon, he finds both unexpected friendship and budding attraction. When a kiss with Bellamy sparks interest from a mysterious observer, Tristan begins to explore a future where he can embrace every part of who he is.

I loved this story with the two men who were drawn together even though they were both little and the Daddy who was drawn to them both as they were a package deal. So sad that Tristan's parents were so fixed in their beliefs. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story.

Review: Their Little House Colter by Kaytea Kat Della Cain 3 of 5 stars

Their Little House Colter (Five Little Roommates Book 1)

Their Little House Colter by Kaytea Kat Della Cain
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Colter feels out of place with their vanilla roommate and dreams of finding a space where he can be himself. He discovers an opportunity to live in a large house with like-minded individuals through a community board at Chained. Despite fears of it being a scam or encountering a controlling "Faux Daddy," they take the risk and move in. He is drawn to Dallas, another resident, and wonders if anything can come of their connection. A daddy figure who catches both their eyes believes there is potential for something more.

This was a sweet story based in a house only containing littles. I loved the backgrounds of the three men and that they were respectful of each other and took things slowly although the ending was a little sudden. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: A Little Christmas: Kent by Della Cain by Katea Kat 3 of 5 stars

A Little Christmas: Kent

A Little Christmas: Kent by Della Cain by Katea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Last year Kent's previous Daddy didn't turn up but was with his other boy, planning a New Year’s Eve wedding. This year he's doing Christmas on his own. Buying his own presents, decorating his own tree, and playing with his own toys…alone. At least that’s the plan until his new neighbour gets his package and discovers they have more in common than a shared driveway.

This was a sweet story about Kent who had his heart broken the previous year but found trust and love again with his new neighbour. The Christmas spirit was definitely in this story. I enjoyed the way that I could empathise with Kent because it was easy to pick up his thoughts and feelings. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Reid's Lost Cap

Reid's Lost Cap by Della Cain by Katea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

When Reid inherited his house, he doesn’t expect any feelings as the house belonged to an uncle he’d met exactly one time over twenty years ago. But when he opens the door to the spare bedroom, he's hit with a time capsule, one that teaches him more about his late mother than he'd ever known. There’s even a baseball cap she bought for him when she was pregnant. It’s almost too much and he needs to escape for a little while. Thankfully, his membership at Chained is reciprocal with the local club here. He’ll go, find a daddy to scene with, and be ready to face reality in the morning. If only it were as easy as that.

This was a sweet story as Reid found the Daddy of his dreams thanks to losing his special cap. I loved their relationship and the way that Kevin cared for Reid making sure that he could cope with all the clearing out and memories. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

London's Lost Engine

London's Lost Engine by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

London had proclaimed he would be a train conductor when he was growing up but ended up attending dental school and that has given him the ability and freedom to help those who cannot afford dental care. But he never lost his childhood dream and when he saw that Chained is doing a Little Day on the Train event, he signed up immediately. Who cares that he doesn't have a daddy? He will get the chance to pretend to be a conductor on a real train. And it is the best day ever, right up until he reaches into his conductor’s vest pocket and discovers that his favourite toy train is missing. When he hears an offer to help, he accepts it immediately. he discovers it’s the daddy he's been crushing on. Maybe losing his engine was a good thing after all.

This was a sweet story as to how London met his Daddy and how their relationship developed. London was such a kind and caring guy that I was thrilled that he found himself such a kind Daddy who cared for him and gave him the help and support to help London with his goals to treat people between systems with their dental care. Review: Colby's Lost Binky by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Colby's Lost Binky (Found by Daddy Book 10)

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Colby had it all - a daddy who loved him, a nursery filled with all the toys he could ever want, and a job that made a difference. Only his daddy didn’t love him as he caught him in bed with his boss and so left with only what he could carry as he knew he was worth more than that. So without a job he ends up on his sister's couch and working in her coffee shop. Then he lost his security binky and as a result, he found a new daddy who was ready for his own little.

This was a sweet story of how Colby met Barrister and how they built a relationship which easily moved into a daddy/little dynamic and how they found their happy ever after as well as like-minded friends at Chained. I was thrilled for them both as they were a great couple who were very compatible. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Lane's Lost Kitten (Found by Daddy, #9)

Lane's Lost Kitten by Della Cain by Kaytea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Lane moved to a new city, into a new apartment building on the heels of a bad breakup At least his landlord is hot and straight - not a problem as he doesn't exactly have his life together. When his kitten goes missing he's at a loss as he's always been so careful not to leave the door open and has no idea how she got out. All he knows is that she is in the big world all alone and it’s somehow his fault.
So he sobs loud enough for his landlord to hear who offers to help Lane find Cat-terine, and when they do he gives him a hug which doesn’t feel very straight.

This was a sweet story about Lane who is doing his best on his own to cope with life until he reaches his breaking point with his lost kitten. Elio was a nice guy who helped Lane and their relationship developed from there. I loved that something good came from such a naughty kitten and that the two men seemed to be a match made in heaven.
