The only thing stronger will be Wolf's Hunger when it takes him and he has to heed it or die. Sage is a combination of her mother (Alpha Queen Bristol) and her legendary father (Alpha King Tatum). She thinks that it was enough that she is the only female in the elite fighting group called The Beasts, but because she is a female he twin brother will be the next alpha of their pack and she will be married off to some other alpha. Determined to prove that she is actually the twin who has mastered all of her father's techniques properly, that all is pushed to the side when the Wolf's Hunger strikes her, she knows that her heart is what she needs to follow and not her ambition. Can they sort everything out and have the HEA that they deserve?

I loved this story which was a nice twist on the Wolf's Hunger storyline as it involved a couple of alpha wolves that had it at the same time and had to modify the way they saw their futures developing. I liked the twists and turns in the story and the various characters involved (who I hope will get their own HEA at some time in the future too). Well written and very enjoyable, I definitely felt myself reading faster and faster as I became determined to find out what was going to happen next. I have to say, considering how she was in her own story I was surprised (and disappointed) at the attitude that Bristol had towards the future that Sage was initially being pushed towards. Contains some sexual content.

Tatum is an Alpha with a large region who ruled in a firm but fair manner. He thinks that love is nonsense and doesn't have time for any of that and thinks that the wolf's hunger is an old wives tale. When he gets physical and emotional pain he does everything he can to ignore it. Bristol is the daughter of an Alpha who was recently murdered by Rex (who has also just killed her mother) one of the pack members who is determined to take over as Alpha and claim her as his mate. She is on the run when she meets Tatum who she recognises has her soulmate and Tatum suddenly finds that maybe the wolf's hunger is real after all - he can't get enough of her and is suddenly determined to make her his. Can he keep her safe from Rex or will he get her and kill Tatum into the bargain?

This is a great addition to the Wolf's Hunger collection The story had lots of danger and drama with the story between Tatum and Bristol. It was well written and I could feel and empathise will all the thoughts and emotions the characters in the story. I liked the descriptions of the settings and activities in the stories and it added to the feeling that I was watching the story in pictures or video. I've not read anything by this author but I enjoyed this and will look for other stories by her.
