Ruwen NaNaran has only a month to find his mate (denya) otherwise he will be dead. Human Lis Jaynx was kidnapped from Earth and just wants to go home. She is currently on an inhospitable planet called Polai with little food and so has no hope. She will do anything to find a ship to take her home but the planet she is on is hostile to alien life and so Lis is running out of places to hide. As soon as Ruwen sees Lis he knows she is his denya but she is wounded and distrustful of aliens. Will the chemistry between them be enough to kill her fears or will the bond break before it forms leaving Lis alone again in space?
I enjoyed this story. I did find the way that Ruwen thought he would approach Lis as a little strange but at the end of the day, it worked. I loved the additional characters in the space station. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
