Review: Touch the Lightning by N.R. Walker 5 of 5 stars

Touch the Lightning

Touch the Lightning by N.R. Walker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jeremiah is sent to repair a remote weather station on Oxley Island—a crocodile-prone, boat-only destination he’d rather avoid. Tully, however, sees it as the perfect getaway: two days alone with his storm-chaser boyfriend, a boat, and the promise of thunderstorms. But the trip takes a dangerous turn when Jeremiah’s research leads him back to the moment lightning changed his life thirty years ago. As the storm builds, so does the tension, and Jeremiah must confront the past that shaped him—this time, with Tully by his side and a chance to reclaim control.

I loved this story that blended adventure, romance, and a reckoning with the past which was full of love, legacy, and the electrifying power of facing what haunts you. This was such a powerful and dramatic story that brought me to tears a number of times. Huge emotions and feelings in this story. I'm very sad that this series is now complete. This was an MM story with mature content.

Into the Tempest

Into the Tempest by N.R. Walker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jeremiah Overton has taken charge of Darwin’s Bureau of Meteorology, and his storm-chasing boyfriend, Tully Larson, is thrilled to be by his side. While Tully looks forward to sharing summer storms with the man he loves, Jeremiah faces the challenge of outdated equipment—and the looming threat of cyclone season. When Tropical Cyclone Hazer barrels toward the city, the couple chooses to stay and face it together. Tully’s seasoned instincts clash with Jeremiah’s theoretical knowledge, and as the storm intensifies, both men must rely on each other to survive not just the cyclone—but the emotional turbulence it brings.

I loved this story that blended love, weather, and the raw power of nature. As part of it, the story was of love under pressure, resilience in the face of nature’s fury, and the strength found in weathering the storm together. Such a dramatic story that was heartbreaking at the effects of the cyclone on the people and the city of Darwin. I adored Doreen and her t-shirts. Lots of emotions and feelings in this story which was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Befriending the Bear by Nora Phoenix 5 of 5 stars

Befriending the Bear

Befriending the Bear by Nora Phoenix
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After three decades battling wildfires, Fraser is forced into retirement and relocates to Forestville, unsure of who he is without his career. Then he meets Calloway—a beautiful, guarded man carrying emotional scars of his own. Fraser sees a kindred spirit and feels an instant pull, but Calloway’s walls are high and his trust hard-won. Determined to be more than just a friend, Fraser sets out to prove that love can be just as steady and brave as any fire line. But falling for Calloway is no controlled burn—it’s a leap into the unknown, and Fraser’s doing it without a parachute.

I loved this story of second chances, emotional courage, and the kind of love that’s worth every risk. Calloway was so broken and had such high walls that I just wanted to hug him and tell him that everything would be alright. Fraser was so patient and this book was full of passion, emotions and feelings. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Outrun the Rain by N.R. Walker 4 of 5 stars

Outrun the Rain

Outrun the Rain by N.R. Walker
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tully Larson lives for the wild—raised in Kakadu National Park, he’s a rugged storm-chaser who finds joy in the raw power of tropical tempests. Jeremiah Overton, a fulminologist from Melbourne, is drawn to lightning for its science, not its adrenaline. When Jeremiah heads to Kakadu to study the storms, Tully volunteers to guide him through the remote terrain. Neither expects much from the other—Tully doubts the academic’s grit, and Jeremiah questions the cowboy’s depth. But as the skies crackle and the tension builds, they discover that opposites don’t just attract—they ignite. In the heart of Australia’s storm season, love strikes with the force of lightning.

I loved this story with the two men who were crazy but were also perfect for each other. The story was full of descriptions of the thrill of nature, unexpected connection, and the spark between opposites. I could feel the story of elemental passion, discovery, and the electric pull of two lives colliding. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

It’s messy, magical, and full of surprises—just the way Mistvale likes it.

This was a sweet story as we caught up with the families in Mistvale over the Christmas period. I loved that the missing presents were not part of anything bad but something wonderful. The Reclusive Dryad

The Reclusive Dryad by Stella Rainbow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Elian, a reclusive forest spirit, has long guarded Silent Creek Park in solitude—until Alden, a vibrant unicorn guided by ancient magic, arrives with cupcakes and unwavering kindness. Determined to befriend the shy guardian, Alden offers sweetness and warmth, slowly chipping away at Elian’s walls. Elian, intrigued by Alden’s presence and moved by his gentle persistence, begins to respond in kind, exchanging gifts like in the old days of magic. As their bond deepens from cautious friendship to something more tender and profound, both must decide whether to embrace the possibility of love blooming quietly beneath the trees.

I loved this story of slow trust, soft magic, and the beauty of being truly seen. I loved that Alden was gentle and determined to give Elian as much time as he needed. I loved that the story gently introduced Elian to Alden's family as well as the rest of the Mistvale clan. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story.

Review: Falling For 42 by Becca Seymour 3 of 5 stars

Falling For 42

Falling For 42 by Becca Seymour
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Kobe, a tattooed rebel with a sharp edge and a soft spot for basketball, finds himself unexpectedly drawn to Malik—a clean-cut college player with no ink and a dangerously charming smirk. Set up by his brother, Kobe’s thrown into a game of chemistry and contrast with Malik, whose awkward charm and simmering intensity spark something irresistible. They’re polar opposites: inked vs. pristine, bold vs. composed. But beneath the teasing and tension lies a deeper connection waiting to be explored—one that promises to heat up both the court and their hearts.

I enjoyed this novella with the two men who proved that opposites really do attract. The story captured the tension, attraction, and opposites-attract dynamic. It was a slow burn with swagger, vulnerability, and the thrill of falling for someone who’s nothing like you… and exactly what you need. A little instalove but the length of this story needed it to be like that. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

The Vulnerable Human

The Vulnerable Human by Stella Rainbow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Vo, a gargoyle bodyguard with fierce instincts and a soft heart, is drawn to Trick after overhearing a panicked call. Discovering Trick is a single father being stalked, Vo steps in to protect him and his daughter—only to realize Trick is his fated mate. Nothing, not bullets or poison, will keep Vo from keeping them safe. Trick, a human chef, uprooted his life to care for his sister and her baby. After her passing, he’s left raising Lena alone in Mistvale. Just as life begins to settle, threatening notes appear, and fear sets in. Hiring Vo seems like the safest choice—and the most unexpectedly comforting. As danger closes in, so does desire, and Trick must decide if he’s ready to trust the gargoyle who’s guarding more than just his life.

I loved this story of protection, healing, and the quiet strength of love that shields and transforms. It was carefully written so that it blended suspense, found family, and fated love. I loved the way that Lena was fairly central to the story and that she clearly loved both men. Some danger and drama due to the stalker and some passion between Vo and Trick as their relationship deepened. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: It's Only Love by A.E. Jensen by Courtney W. Dixon 4 of 5 stars

It's Only Love

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Dennis has loved Mike Tanner—his brother’s best friend—for as long as he can remember. Before leaving for college, he confessed his feelings with a kiss that ended in heartbreak. Now, four years later, Dennis returns to Cannon Beach, emotionally bruised and convinced that his chance with Mike is long gone. Mike has carried the weight of grief since childhood, finding solace in Dennis’s quiet companionship. When Dennis kissed him years ago, Mike wasn’t ready. But time and failed relationships have shown him that no one compares to Dennis. With Dennis back in town, Mike realizes the truth: Dennis has always been the one.

I loved this with its emotional depth and longing woven into this second-chance romance. This was a sweet story of unspoken love, emotional healing, and the courage to ask for a second chance. Surrounded by a supportive clan, things are going well—until Neel keeps mentioning a mysterious griffin librarian Memphis has yet to meet. Consequences by Abrianna Denae by Leigh Kenzie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Mafia bosses Allesandro Martelli and Cristian Amato return to their thrones after a harrowing kidnapping, but reclaiming power isn’t as simple as it seems. As they navigate shifting alliances and personal scars, both men must confront whether they can trust themselves—and each other—to protect the empires they nearly died for. Bonds

Bonds by Stella Rainbow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Joy has always felt like an outsider—an adopted human in a supernatural clan, yearning to truly belong. That wish begins to come true when Quill, a wolf shifter guided by a vision, finds her and claims her as his mate. Together, they set out to complete their triad and find the third piece of their bond. Tate, a centuries-old supe, has lived in solitude since his mate bond was shattered by betrayal. Hardened by heartbreak, he’s given up hope—until Joy and Quill arrive at his cabin, refusing to let him retreat into isolation. As the three navigate trust, trauma, and the complexities of connection, they discover that fate may spark a bond… but love is what makes it whole.

I loved this story with the mixture of a human who adores all things supernatural, a buff wolf shifter who loves pretty clothes, and a blind, asexual werewolf who very much wants to be loved. It was a story of belonging, resilience, and the healing that comes when soulmates refuse to give up on each other. The three men were perfect for each other and I loved the way that they were so respectful of Tate and his limits. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content.

Ari knows what he wants—a Daddy to love and care for him—and he’s set his sights on Reid Morgan, Briar Creek’s broody firefighter and his older brother’s best friend. Drag You Down by Adara Wolf by R. Phoenix
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Levi is innocent, sheltered, and desperate to escape the gaze of Gabriel—a man who feels more like a devil than a savior. Friendly Skies by Marie Sinclair
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Luis and Darius have been soul twins since childhood—inseparable best friends, flight attendant colleagues, and occasional partners in shared intimacy. But beneath their platonic façade lies a love neither has dared to name. Darius, openly gay, accepted his place in Luis’s friend zone long ago, choosing to be Luis’s safe haven through years of unexplained anxiety and silent suffering. Luis has hidden the truth of a traumatic assault that followed a night of innocent kisses with Darius—fearing that revealing it would cost him the one person he can’t live without. When a troubling incident on a flight forces Luis to confront his past and his feelings, the fragile hope of romance between them is tested by false accusations and resurfacing trauma. To build a future together, Luis and Darius must face the pain they’ve buried, the love they’ve denied, and the strength it takes to heal side by side.

I was really disappointed with this second book in the series. I found many of the moments silly which felt so wrong given the fact that there was a sexual assault there too. I lost my temper and attention for much of the book which was such a shame. This was an MM story with mature content.

Beyond Hate by Lee McCormick
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Otto was promised revenge. Reincarnated by a corrupt soul-trading company, he returns to confront Nikki—the man who once loved him and then shattered him. But the person he finds isn’t the cruel betrayer he remembers. London, soft and radiant, seems nothing like the boy who turned Otto into a monster. Still, Otto is obsessed with uncovering the truth: is Nikki buried beneath London’s gentle exterior? London’s world unravels when Otto abducts him, claiming they share a dark past. Though terrified, London feels an inexplicable pull toward his captor. Otto’s violence repels him, yet his presence ignites something primal and confusing. As their twisted bond deepens, both men are forced to confront the blurred lines between love, vengeance, and fate.

Up in Flames by E.M. Denning
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After passing the bar, Oren Reid feels invincible—until a tragic car accident claims his two best friends, leaving him as the lone survivor. Months later, still grappling with loss, he reconnects with Will Dorsey—the firefighter who saved him that night. A friendship blossoms, but emotions simmer beneath the surface. Will, closeted and cautious, hides his attraction. Oren, once convinced he was straight, starts to question everything as feelings deepen. With love threatening to break through fear, the men must decide if their bond can weather the fire—or if it will burn them both down.

I loved this story with such a raw tenderness in how trauma reshapes identity and opens space for unexpected love. I loved the detail given in how hard it it was for Oren after the accident and the after effects as he started as normal a life as he could. The kinship and passion between the two men was something I could almost touch. When Will did reveal his sexuality to someone else it was a bit anticlimactic which was quite sad. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Killer Daddy by Zack Wish 3 of 5 stars

Killer Daddy

Killer Daddy by Zack Wish
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Benjamin's dream is simple: open a florist shop in the city and build a peaceful life. But when gangsters threaten his business, innocence offers no protection—and danger becomes a bouquet of secrets. Enter Michael Fendi: deadly, magnetic, and tied to the mafia world Benjamin wants nothing to do with. Yet their undeniable chemistry sparks something reckless and intimate. As Benjamin’s life spirals deeper into a web of violence and control, he’s forced to confront just how far he'll go for survival—and whether love can bloom where death reigns.

I enjoyed this story with shades of forbidden desire, transformation, and moral ambiguity. It was full of tension, and a darkly romantic undercurrent although I did find it sadly lacking in a level of detail that the story deserved. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Rowan's Renewal: An M/M Summer Daddy Romance

Rowan's Renewal: An M/M Summer Daddy Romance by Anna Sparrows
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rowan Stratton reluctantly accepts a luxury vacation from his well-meaning best friend, hiding personal secrets that make intimacy feel impossible. Expecting solitude and shame, he’s surprised when a mix-up pairs him with Aaron Park—a charming, playful Daddy figure mourning the absence of his ex-boyfriend. What starts as a comedic clash of circumstances slowly shifts into something tender. As Aaron sees past Rowan’s defenses, Rowan must confront whether he’s ready to be fully known. In a story of sun-soaked second chances, the real journey isn’t across the globe—it’s learning to believe he’s worthy of love, just as he is.

I loved this short story that weaves vulnerability, desire, and self-discovery. There was the perfect mix of beach vibes and emotional depth. Lots of body positive messages considering Rowan's illnesses and the aftereffects of them. A lot of feelings and emotions in this story as Rowan finds himself his perfect Daddy. Review: Sandcastles & Sunburns by Athena Steller 3 of 5 stars

Sandcastles & Sunburns: A DKAG short story

Sandcastles & Sunburns: A DKAG short story by Athena Steller
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Liam, celebrating his dream beach house, is ready to embrace the little side of himself he’s neglected—content with his cat and best friend, even without the Daddy he once hoped for. But a new neighbor changes everything: Jude, a reclusive, ex-military man quietly nursing a decade of heartbreak after losing both his boy and best friend. As their paths cross over lemonade, sunscreen, and sandcastles, Liam’s hopeful sweetness begins to thaw Jude’s icy emotional armour. With each shared moment, Liam’s longing awakens Jude’s buried instincts—and the chance at a bond neither expected but both desperately need.

This was a sweet short story that wrapped tenderness, grief, and sunlit second chances into a coastal romance. There was such a beautiful ache to how love tiptoed back in for both of them.  Definitely a story to make you smile. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Angel of Death by Stella Rainbow 4 of 5 stars

Angel of Death

Angel of Death by Stella Rainbow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Niall, a vampire betrayed and enslaved by the man he once loved, carries deep scars of captivity and manipulation. After being rescued, he vows never to be controlled again. But when he discovers his fated mate is Aeron—a necromancer with the power to command the undead—his vow is tested. Trust becomes a battlefield. Aeron, wounded and ready to die, is unexpectedly healed and drawn to Niall long before realizing they’re bonded as semnyar. But even love at first sight is no match for the shadows of their past. Aeron struggles to gain Niall’s trust, even as his magic—necessary, yet intrusive—threatens to widen the distance between them. Bound by fate but haunted by pain, these two must confront betrayal, control, and their own emotional wounds to find a love that frees rather than binds.

I enjoyed this story with its hauntingly beautiful tension between what love demands and what fear resists. The story was steeped in trauma, magic, and the fragile hope of healing. There were a lot of emotions and feelings as both learnt to trust each other and settle into their relationship. Some nice moments involving the couples from the previous books in the series. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: The Emerald Dragon Prince by M.M. Farmer 4 of 5 stars

The Emerald Dragon Prince

The Emerald Dragon Prince by M.M. Farmer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rumi has always protected his brothers from their father’s dark legacy, but now that they’ve found their fated mates, it’s time for Rumi to unveil his deepest secret: he met his own mate, dragon alpha Emmerich, long ago—and their meeting bore hidden consequences. As war erupts against their tyrannical father, time grows short and danger closes in. Emmerich is ready to claim the bond he’s waited a year for, but their reunion is complicated by a twist from his past—an ally-turned-threat with immense power. As Nazeing, the dark sorcerer, rises to challenge everything they stand for, Rumi and Emmerich must fight not only for victory, but for the chance at love in a world on the brink of collapse.

I enjoyed this last story in the series that was all about secrecy, and the looming battle between light and dark. There were plenty of twists and turns in this story some of which I had guessed and some I had not and were a complete surprise. Lots of emotions and feelings for all of the characters. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Their Little House Boston by Della Cain by Katea Kat 3 of 5 stars

Their Little House Boston

Their Little House Boston by Della Cain by Katea Kat
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

After being pushed out of a shared apartment by a roommate’s returning ex, Boston finds refuge in a charming old house—recommended with the cryptic assurance that the tenants are “just like you.” Expecting a shared sexual orientation, he discovers instead that the house is full of “littles”—a community unfamiliar to him. Rather than risk exclusion by confessing he doesn’t fully understand the culture, he choose quiet observation. But as days pass, the warmth and trust of the household begin to resonate deeply, awakening questions about his own identity. Maybe he belongs here more than he thought.

This was a sweet story about two littles - Elliott and Boston - and their Daddy Tripp. I loved the way that their relationship started with joint and separate dates with the associated "tax". Some emotions and feelings as they sorted out their individual relationships and overall relationship. A feel good story to make you smile. This was an MMM story with mature and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Skye had plans for a drama-free summer focused on personal growth and career prep—until his newly awakened omega instincts trigger a heat cycle that derails everything. A spontaneous, anonymous hookup behind a glory hole turns into a heated entanglement when the alpha on the other side is revealed to be Maverick—Skye’s brother’s best friend, and someone he absolutely shouldn’t crave. Now, with pheromones fading and feelings lingering, Skye faces a dilemma: will Maverick walk away, or claim him in a way that might destroy the future he’s been working toward?

I enjoyed this heat meets heartbreak story with a dash of forbidden longing. There was a lot of tension and chaos as the two men worked through their relationship and the challenges that they faced. There were a lot of emotional moments in this story as they both struggled with conflicting feelings. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse.

Review: Immoral by Brooke Blaine by Ella Frank 5 of 5 stars

Immoral

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sent in to seduce a dangerous arms dealer, Benoit Olivier finds himself caught between duty and desire. Known for his charm and cunning, Benoit infiltrates Dimitri Stavros’s world as a performer, masking his true mission with flirtation and flair. Dimitri—deadly, brilliant, and drawn to Benoit—offers him trust, unaware of the deception at play. As the stakes rise and emotions complicate the game, Benoit grapples with a choice: expose Dimitri and complete his mission, or abandon it all to protect the man who was never supposed to matter.

I loved this story with the themes of seduction turned survival, laced with betrayal and vulnerability. This was a dramatic rollercoaster ride from the start to the finish. I loved the way that Benoit was such a tease and flirt and how that broke through Dimitri's walls. This was full of passion and feelings as they both explored each other. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Their Little Helper by M.A. Innes 3 of 5 stars

Their Little Helper

Their Little Helper by M.A. Innes
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Dally, bold and unapologetically determined, sets his sights on Harley—the gentle giant with a tender heart and a craving for acceptance. To keep Harley, though, Dally ends up pulling Santos into the mix—a snarky, irresistible thorn in his side. Santos knows Dally is chaos incarnate, but Harley’s soft sincerity draws them both in. Caught in the whirlwind of unexpected love, Harley finds himself at the heart of a fiery trio: one Daddy, one Papa, and himself. With laughter, mismatched personalities, and the occasional lap-kiss brawl, what begins as wild compromise turns into a fiercely loyal, found-family bond none of them saw coming.

This was an enjoyable story with chaos, charm, and unconventional sweetness. I did find it hard to read at times as the author's writing style became irritating. I also found it hard to warm to Dally who needed some kind of filter. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Sleep of Eternity

Sleep of Eternity by Stella Rainbow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cassian, a reclusive mage haunted by the destructive potential of his fire magic, follows a mysterious pull to Mistvale—where he discovers his fated mate buried in the basement of his new home. Gustave, a vampire forced into eternal slumber in 1880, awakens to find Cassian at his side. While Gustave embraces their bond and the new world he's emerged into, Cassian fears his magic will harm the man destiny has given him. As shadows from both their pasts loom, and the threat of a hidden enemy grows, the two must learn to trust their connection and embrace the love that could finally set them free.

I enjoyed this story which had a beautiful tension with fragile magic, haunted memory, and the kind of love that could either heal or destroy. I loved that Cassian was asexual and that they were both happy with that. Some danger and drama due to Tay's past. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

My Dragon Mate

My Dragon Mate by Stella Rainbow
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

William Hawthorne, a single father, unknowingly invites fate into his home during a storm when he offers shelter to Raiden—a mysterious investor with storm-gray eyes and a secret: he's a 2000-year-old dragon. Sparks fly instantly between them, but William resists the bond. Nine-year-old Cam, however, is all in. Determined to unite his dad with the dragon who stole his heart, Cam steps in as the unexpected catalyst for love, family, and magic.

This was a sweet novella featuring the magical pull of destiny, love, and a child's fierce determination. Cam was a sweetheart and understood the forces at play far sooner than his father William. Full of emotions and feelings this was definitely a feel good story. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Dancer by Charity Parkerson 4 of 5 stars

Dancer

Dancer by Charity Parkerson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Austen, a discreet physician to the criminal elite, is used to turning a blind eye—until he meets Rain, a deadly assassin who doubles as a celebrated ballet performer. Their worlds collide when Austen becomes captivated by Rain’s beauty, despite knowing the risks. Rain, hardened by his past and surviving through art and violence, finds himself torn between attraction and instinct. As Austen continues to surface in his life, Rain teeters between passion and self-preservation… and one wrong move could spell the end for them both.

I loved this story that blended danger, desire, and razor-sharp tension. Austen was transfixed by Rain where the way intensity and grace tangled in Rain was electric. The other members of Killers Inc were amusing and I'm looking forward to finding out more about them. A lot of feelings and emotions as well as passion in this story. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Endings and Beginnings by K.C. Wells by Parker Williams 4 of 5 stars

Endings and Beginnings

Endings and Beginnings by K.C. Wells by Parker Williams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Darren Fielding has long felt something missing in his relationships—until witnessing the profound bond between Thomas and Peter at Collars & Cuffs opens his eyes to what intimacy could truly be. When his own partner leaves, he finally reaches out, hoping to find that depth for himself. Meanwhile, JJ Taylor, the club’s new barman, arrives with a specific idea of what he’s looking for—but finds himself unexpectedly drawn to Darren, challenging everything he thought he knew. As emotions intensify and relationships evolve, the Collars & Cuffs family faces a transformative event that underscores their unity, reminding them that love, trust, and chosen bonds hold the power to endure.

I loved this last story in the series that centred on personal awakening, unexpected connection, and community resilience. I also could see that there was such quiet bravery in how both men stepped into the unknown, guided by longing rather than certainty. I was also left with all sorts of questions about the various couples and their futures, which was quite frustrating not to receive any answers.  There were huge amounts of emotions and feelings in this story for the two main characters in this book, as well as the other couples in the series. I loved JJ's feisty nature and the way that Darren had to push for compliance sometimes. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Review: Dom of Ages by K.C. Wells by Parker Williams 5 of 5 stars

Dom of Ages

Dom of Ages by K.C. Wells by Parker Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Eli, a thirty-year-old Dom, is disillusioned by inauthentic dynamics—until he meets Jarod, a submissive with decades of experience and quiet strength. Despite their age gap, Eli is drawn to Jarod’s genuine desire to serve. Jarod, still grieving the loss of his former Master, fears judgment and rejection, convinced Eli will eventually see him as a liability. As they navigate doubts and community perception, a visit to Collars & Cuffs offers the support they both need. Just as their relationship begins to blossom, a phone call threatens everything they’ve built—forcing Eli and Jarod to confront what truly matters.

I loved this story with all of its emotional depth and thematic layers. There was such a powerful tension between vulnerability and validation here. It was lovely to see their acceptance to collars & cuffs plus the way that the subs all accepted older Jarod. A lot of feelings and emotions which will make you cry. I must give a shout out to Jarod's mum Maggie who was so cool. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.
