A good value collection of shifter stories of a Christmas nature that will leave us all with the seasonal spirit.

#1 A Furry Little Christmas - C.D. Gorri - 5*

This is a second chance at a love book set in the Maccon City Pack area. I really enjoyed it and was rooting for them both.

#2 Unwrapping Her Dragon - Julia Mills - 3*

This is a Dragon Warrior story. Everleigh knows that the dragon is hers, but after he just left her she is not yet ready to let him get near her. He certainly has his work cut out for him.

#3 Her Cowboy Warrior – Liv Brywood - 3*

I enjoyed this story although I did find the female lead a bit clueless at times

#4 Tis the Season for Sass – Melanie James - 4*

This is set in the Black Paw wolves pack and was a great mix between lots of action and magic.

#5 A Fated Mate for Christmas – Selena Blake - 5*

I loved this story and the way that Garett and Gabriella connected together and the strength she got through her connection to him.

#6 The Honeybear’s Xmas Curse – Jacqueline Sweet - 5*

I loved this story and how she was saved from evil magic at Christmas time.

#7 Her Cowboy's Christmas Surprise – J. K. Harper - 2*

I really disliked this story. As I was reading it I was just shouting in my head at Callie to stop being so stupid and acting like an idiot.

#8 Gracie’s Gift – V. Vaughn - 4*

I loved this story and the connections between them all were great.

Arizona is fleeing from an arranged marriage with a Mob boss and is helped to a solution by friend Gerri Wilder. A gorgeous cowboy bear shifter called Garrett as agreed to protect her as long as she agrees to pose as his fiancée so that he can make his dying father happy. When she gets there while they definitely have a fake relationship, there is absolutely no doubting the mutual desire running between them. This could turn out to be the most dangerous game she has ever played. Whilst Garrett has no intention to get married and be tied down, his bear has a completely different viewpoint to him and is determined to fight for the woman who is actually his fated mate. Their arrangement is only supposed to last a couple of weeks, but at the end of it can they get each other go?

This was a very emotional story that had plenty of drama and action at times (and not just in the bedroom either!). It was nice to see them get some kind of relationship in the end (even though a large part of what was between them was the sex to start with). Easy to understand. Contains a lot of explicit sexual content.

Bear shifter Angela is sick of living in a city and desperately needs to get out in the country. She also needs a man who can be a mate to her and make sure that her needs are met. So she goes to Gerri Wilder and registers with her. As part of that, she agrees to take 2 weeks off her job and go stay with a man in the middle of the woods to see if they can get along - after all looking at his picture he is incredibly hot. Bear shifter Jagger is sick and tired of his brother nagging him to find a mate - he was in love once and it fell apart so he is not prepared to try again - he'll carry on alone thank you! But to appease his brother he signed up with an agency and has agreed for a woman to stay with him. He'll just cope for the time she is there, avoid her as much as he can, then send her back. But when he meets Angela his bear goes wild and insists she is his mate - the problem is he is far too scared to fall in love with anyone again. Can fate decide their destiny?

I loved this story. Jagger was so determined to not fall in love with Angela and in the end, he just could not fight the mating bond and his growing addiction to her. I loved the way he reacted when she went for a walk and the weather changed and I think that was when his downfall started. Well written, this was a fairly quick and easy read that definitely involved a lot of emotions and conflicted thinking for Jagger. Contains explicit sexual content.
