Review: Ball & Chain by A.W. Scott 3 of 5 stars

Ball & Chain (Club Deny #5)

Ball & Chain by A.W. Scott
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Dallas has focused on his career for years getting through college then law school, passing the bar and then being hired by a firm. Then he saw Justice Bexley and all his protective instincts came to the fore. For Justice dance was his escape from a world of chaos until he was noticed and then he was moulded into have others wanted him to be. He had searched for something that was just his and then he met a lawyer full of demands on how he’d like to please him.

I loved this story with the tortured ballet dancer who hid in the dance which brought him joy until he met lawyer Dallas when his source of joy changed. His dance coach was just evil as were his parents - I'll leave it at that. I loved that Dallas did everything he could to meet and be with Justice around their jobs even though he had to keep flying to do it. I was so happy when they got a happy ending. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content with some BSDM-like D/s behaviours.
