Aurora Day known as the Fox is running from a crime that she didn't commit and there is a bounty on her head. Hiding on the frontier moon Clotho she has to adopt an alien baby and is shocked when she learns that a dragon warrior of the Invicta is part of the package. Kade knows two things about Aurora - she is going to be the mother of the child he is pledged to guard and has grown to love and the mysterious woman is his mate. She is also clearly hiding some secrets and he is determined to find them. When Kade gets in trouble with the local law enforcement only Aurora can save him and her perfect life is about to come crashing down.
This was a pleasant story with the strong warrior, the mate with secrets and at the centre of it all a child. I liked the friendly neighbours with their own secrets and the competition and just how crazy Aurora was. Easy to read, feel and understand.
