Silver Cruz is 26 and works on fast and often classic cars. He is a Daddy and is looking for the right boy to take care of. Donovan Fonterra is 42 and a billionaire CEO with a love of fast cars and mindless hookups. When Silver does a quick fix to help Donovan out he rebuffs the sloppy attempt to pick him up by Donovan who then decides to pursue him. Seeing Donovan for what he is Silver just has to bide his time until he can become his Daddy and help him out.
In some ways, I enjoyed this story and in others, it was a bit lacklustre. I enjoyed the passion that Donovan had for life and the way he did things requiring adrenaline to mask his pain, but I did find it strange that he was so cowed by his brother and father with regard to his sexuality and the way the company was run. I realise the point that it was the confidence that his Daddy gave him that enabled him to do something about it, but it seemed a bit false. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.
