My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Berry's twin sister Cherry convinced her to try for the same training camp as her except none of her previous training prepared her for what she would face when there. Being stuck in close quarters during bad weather and with the missing or killed people it is hard for people to stay calm and in control. When her sister Cherry shows an ugly side to her personality she is not sure she can fix it. Wondering how many others it affected, Egan and Berry need to find out, before they become the next victims.
I enjoyed this story with the historical and present-day drama dragged into the same storyline. I don't know if much progress was made for the underlying problem but it did chip away at it a little bit. I loved the friendship and then the relationship that started between Egan and Berry but I'm sure it will become something much more over time. There was some drama in this story but a lot of it was emotional and revelations. Easy to read and understand.
