Ty Ingalls has been the go-to guy for his family and is often the same for everyone else and so everyone sees him as a big strong man. Then he meets Bear who incorrectly assumes that all they can have is friendship even though he needs to be in control and be the Daddy and is the first person to ever want to take care of Ty. Ty is caught up in what the world expects from him and can’t see himself as a boy... but Bear can. Will he be able to help Ty realize that the way everyone else sees him isn’t as important as the way he sees himself?
I enjoyed this story where Bear can clearly see that Ty needs a Daddy and that he will have to work hard to make him realise how true that is. It was interesting to see how easy it actually was to push back against Ty's family and friends from taking advantage of him and that he just needed to confidence to push back. I loved the way the story ended with them having their HEA in a way that appealed to them both. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is a MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.
