Nolan Carter might be successful and wealthy, but he has lost himself along the way and so he retreats to the ranch he owns in Texas on a whim. When there he meets his new foreman Cruz Coban who is self-assured, comfortable in his skin, and commanding and wants to become Nolan's Daddy. Nolan has never had a Daddy before, but when Cruz takes the reins, Nolan feels accepted for who he is inside: a geeky boy who wants to be loved - but what will he decide about their future?
I enjoyed this story with the geeky lost boy Nolan and the confident rancher who needed his own boy to love and care for. I enjoyed the way that they met and the humour in that situation as well as Nolan's initial meeting with the cows lol It was nice to include some of the analysis of emotions and the way that Nolan thought in order to solve problems which were interesting to experience. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was a MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.
